Privacy policy
inMind is a personal task and contact planner. This page explains what information it keeps, why, and what you can do about it.
Who runs inMind
inMind is run by Leon Gosling. You can contact me about anything on this page at leongosling1@gmail.com.
What I collect
- Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google, inMind receives your name, email address and profile picture. It does not get your Google password, and it does not see your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts.
- What you put into inMind. Your sections, tasks, notes, next steps and activity log.
- Settings on your device. Small preferences, such as which sidebar groups are folded, are kept in your browser's local storage. Your sign-in session is kept there too, so you stay signed in.
inMind does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
How it's used
Only to run the app for you: to sign you in, show you your own board, and keep it in step across your devices. Your data is private to your account. Other people using inMind cannot see it.
I don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
Where it's stored
inMind uses a few trusted services to run:
- Supabase stores your account and board data, and handles sign-in.
- Google confirms who you are when you choose "Continue with Google".
- Cloudflare serves the app's web pages.
These services process data on my behalf and may store it outside the UK, under their own security and privacy terms.
How long it's kept
Your data is kept while you have an account. Completed tasks are cleared automatically after 30 days. If you ask me to delete your account, I'll delete your account and everything on your board.
Your choices
- Download your data at any time with "Download backup" or "Export to Excel (CSV)" in the sidebar.
- Delete your data or account by emailing leongosling1@gmail.com from the address you sign in with.
- Remove inMind's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings, under Security, then "Third-party apps and services".
If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to ask what data I hold about you, to have it corrected, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
